                Times of Eating


            Normally, people eat three times a day—morning (breakfast),

            afternoon (lunch) and night (dinner). Different people like to eat

            different foods at these times.

             v Spices make our food tasty and fragrant. Ask your mother which spices she

                uses in cooking.



                A Balanced Diet

            As there are different types of foods, our diet should include them

            all. This will make us strong, healthy and active. Such a diet is

            called a balanced diet            . It should include cereals (wheat, rice), pulses
